Positron Emission Tomography Technician Job Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled Positron Emission Tomography Technician to join our radiology team at ZipRecruiter. The ideal candidate will have experience performing PET and PET/CT procedures and maintaining accurate patient records.

Estimated salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year.

About the Job
  • Assesses, prepares, records, and administers radio pharmaceuticals according to Nuclear Regulatory Commission and/or State regulations and departmental policies.
  • Maintains positive attitude and working relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates and peers.
Responsibilities
  1. Reports daily and weekly departmental surveys to ensure compliance of radiation standards of the department and Nuclear Regulatory Commission and/or State Regulations.
  2. Performs and records daily quality control procedures on specified equipment to ensure correct and accurate operation.
