Job Description:

  1. ">
  2. To co-ordinate the Breast Imaging Quality Control and Quality Assurance system across Worcestershire and Herefordshire sites.">
  3. Ensure that the service meets or exceeds the standards set out by the National Health Service Breast Screening Programme (NHSBSP).">
  4. Undertake high-quality screening mammography at base unit, static, and mobile screening units.">
  5. Maintain equipment fault report records at both local and national level.">
  6. Liaise with IRS to ensure equipment surveys are carried out in a timely manner and any recommendations are acted on within the required timescales.">
  7. Ensure that Departmental Radiation Procedures comply with the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) regulations (IR(ME)R 2017).">

Person Specification:

  • Diploma/Degree in Radiography HCPC Registration.">
  • Possess a Post Graduate Award in Mammography Practice.">
  • Willing and able to travel to various breast imaging sites including mobile screening locations.">
