Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and repair system faults
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on a range of equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns, communicate effectively with affected parties, and work efficiently to resolve issues
  • Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and providing feedback and suggestions for improvements through the line manager
  • Adhere to Health and Safety procedures at all times
  • Complete maintenance duties independently and as part of a team

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification or above in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Full UK driving license and own transport to work at both sites
  • Flexibility to work weekends and be on call
