HR Advisor Job Description

BCW Group is seeking a highly skilled HR Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in implementing and developing HR best practices, providing seamless HR services and processes, and supporting the establishment and maintenance of our company's policies, procedures, and culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain HR policy and procedures to ensure compliance with employment law and company policies.
  • Conduct audits to evaluate the effectiveness of HR systems, procedures, and practices, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and implement new HR policies and procedures, and maintain existing ones to ensure they are up-to-date and relevant.
  • Provide HR support to management and supervision, including induction, training, and competence development, communication, and maintenance of employee records and HR-related administration.
  • Liaise with payroll and management to ensure accurate data submission and compliance with company policies.
  • Support the HR team in day-to-day operations, including providing consultation for employees on HR issues, and providing guidance and support to management and supervision.
  • Deliver HR projects, including meetings, training, and surveys, and provide input and support for executive and HR-related meetings.
  • Provide provision to deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
  • Support group companies in ensuring compliance with company policy, procedures, and practices.
  • Develop and maintain content of HR-related training, ensuring compliance with employment law and the business strategy and culture.
  • Deliver HR training for managers and front-line employees, where appropriate.
  • Ensure provision of training sessions relevant to HR, including induction, policy changes/implementation, interview techniques, conducting investigations, etc.
  • Support coaching and mentoring sourcing and provision throughout the Group.
  • Adopt and drive safe working practices in line with current Company procedures and undertake appropriate training in Health and Safety.
Requirements:
  • Professional Level 3 Award or equivalent NVQ Level 3 qualification.
  • Previous experience of Human Resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet objectives and agreed targets.
  • Good IT skills, in particular spreadsheets and databases.
  • Analytical and numerical skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail skills.
  • Creative and innovative thinking.
  • Compassionate to the needs of others.
