Job Title: Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Northampton. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive electrical designs, covering schematics, LV distribution, lighting, small power & data, fire alarm, and security layouts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement electrical designs for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Collaborate with the design team to ensure all project milestones are met, and provide support as needed.
  3. Communicate design solutions effectively to internal stakeholders and external clients, ensuring clear understanding and buy-in.
  4. Assist lead engineers in gathering and distributing project information to the project team, ensuring seamless project execution.
  5. Utilize software tools like AutoCAD, Trimble, Relux, Microsoft Office, and Revit to design and develop electrical systems.

Requirements:

  1. A Building Services Engineering HNC, or an equivalent degree in a related field.
  2. Experience with CAD software and proficiency in electrical engineering design principles.
