Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Manage all deliveries and collections, including the receipt of products, stock control, and weighbridge operations, while ensuring contractors adhere to the Fuel Handling area induction.
  • Fuel Inventory Process: Manage the fuel inventory process, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Mobile Plant Operation: Operate all mobile plant, including equipment and machinery, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Chipping Maximisation: Ensure chipping is maximised to meet production targets.
  • Product Sampling: Undertake product sampling and timely preparation for analysis, ensuring accurate results.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality control and inspection of fuel supplies, validated against specifications.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance to all related company procedures and company safe systems of work.
  • Team Support: Assist the Operation team as required, providing support and guidance when needed.
  • Reporting: Report any areas of concern and be proactive in offering solutions to improve site operations.
  • Maintenance: Carry out routine and first-line maintenance as required, ensuring equipment is in good working order.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot any production disturbances that may occur, resolving issues efficiently.
  • Risk Communication: Communicate all situations that present serious or imminent risk to the site team and management.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Make visual checks on all Fuel Handling equipment and take actions to rectify through the CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System).
  • Consumable and Waste Management: Complete all necessary consumable and waste management tasks and administration.
  • Plant Equipment: Isolate, prepare, and recommission plant equipment before and after maintenance.
  • Training: Train new operators as required, ensuring they are competent in their roles.
  • Housekeeping: Demonstrate complete ownership of the Plant undertaking housekeeping duties and audits.
  • Safety Tours: Conduct safety tours/site visits and report findings through the Safety Management System.
  • Shift Log: Produce a detailed shift log and carry out a detailed and effective handover.
  • Learning Management System: Ensure all aspects of the Learning Management System, including assigned objectives, are completed within the relevant timescales.
