Religious Education Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join our team at a secondary school in Blaenau Gwent. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 students, as well as GCSE classes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a classroom of learners and prepare lessons in line with national curriculum
- Deliver engaging lessons and activities to promote student learning
- Work in accordance with the school's behaviour management policies
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of RE teaching experience (exceptions made for NQTs)
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
- Registration as a Teacher with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
- References covering the last two years (no gaps)
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
- The right to work in the UK
