Band 6 Physiotherapist FTC Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our team within the outpatient physiotherapy service at Southend Hospital on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including acute and chronic conditions. The role will involve working with the acute team, chronic team, satellite services, hydrotherapy, women's health, and hand therapy, providing the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of areas.
Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will be a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, and hold a Degree in Physiotherapy. The candidate will have previous MSK experience as a junior or senior, a working knowledge of a broad range of patient conditions, and experience of audit and research. Excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and evidence of presentation skills are also essential.
