Airworthiness Specialist Job Summary
This Airworthiness Specialist role offers a unique opportunity to oversee scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance for a range of business aircraft under Part-145 maintenance control. The successful candidate will uphold regulatory and company standards, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and to the highest quality, communicating regular updates and reports to multiple internal and external stakeholders.
About the Role
- Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance activities within approved regulatory frameworks, prioritizing safety and operational efficiencies
- Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections in adherence to established procedures and quality standards, ensuring health and safety are maintained
- Execute daily maintenance tasks proficiently within approved service centers, minimizing downtime and ensuring prompt service delivery
- Coordinate unscheduled maintenance actions effectively, providing timely recommendations to optimize resource utilization while maintaining safety protocols
- Release Work Orders in strict compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures, facilitating efficient record-keeping and minimizing operational disruptions
- Collaborate closely with hangar management to track progress, manage manpower, and address critical path issues, ensuring seamless workflow and timely project completion
- Collaborate with support services for efficient spares procurement, managing shortage reports and accessing repair and technical information as needed
- Uphold stringent quality standards by providing clear direction to staff, ensuring comprehensive work instructions, and enforcing adherence to the quality system
Requirements
- Valid Part 66 License and completion of Part 145 course
- One or more of the following Type Ratings: EMB 135/145 (Legacy 600/650), EMB Lineage 1000 (EMB 190), Legacy 500 (Preator), Phenom 100, Phenom 300, Challenger 604/605, Bombardier Global BD700
Working Conditions
The working hours for this role are 19:00 - 07:00 on a shift pattern of 5,5,4,5,5,4.
