About the Role

Petroplan is seeking a highly skilled Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer to join our team in Grangemouth on a permanent staff basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading organization in the energy sector, where you will be responsible for leading the maintenance and repair of rotating equipment across the asset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the maintenance and repair of rotating equipment, including compressors and gas turbines.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in rotating equipment maintenance.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a technical role, with a focus on rotating equipment maintenance.
  • Proven track record of leading maintenance teams and implementing process improvements.
  • Strong technical knowledge of rotating equipment, including compressors and gas turbines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
