Manucomm Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician / QC / Technical Assistant to join their team in Kidderminster. As a key member of the quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in the laboratory.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out analytical analysis of products to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date laboratory records and files
- Ensure equipment is calibrated and maintained to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Monitor fermentations, record analysis, and enter results on SAP
- Enter all required information onto SAP, including raw materials and supplier information
- Liaise with suppliers and transport to ensure production and customer requirements are met
- Previous laboratory experience, preferably in a food/drink environment
- Good computer skills and ability to perform administrative tasks
- Enthusiasm to learn and apply new skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm, with the opportunity to earn overtime during busy periods. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a small, modern site with a strong focus on quality and safety.
The salary for this role is £25,050 per annum, with the opportunity to earn additional shift premium during busy periods.
