We are seeking a motivated and independent individual to join our team as a Collection and Network Driver. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering mail and parcels to our customers across Newton Abbot and surrounding areas.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term contract opportunity that requires you to work 30 hours per week, with flexible shift patterns that may include weekends. You will be responsible for collecting mail and parcels from post offices and delivery points, and delivering them to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect mail and parcels from post offices and delivery points
  • Deliver mail and parcels to customers across Newton Abbot and surrounding areas
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve delivery targets
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure that customers receive their mail and parcels on time
  • Operate a company vehicle and maintain a high level of safety and security

What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.54, with opportunities for overtime and a contributory pension scheme. You will also receive 22.5 days holiday per year, rising with length of service, and access to a range of discounts and benefits.

Requirements

  • A full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and carry mail and parcels
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shift patterns, including weekends
