Fire Alarm Service Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join our client's experienced and friendly team. This role is available due to strong company growth levels and continued expansion.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out regular servicing, reactive maintenance, and commissioning of Fire detection, Emergency lighting, and associated systems. They will also be required to maintain up-to-date knowledge of and compliance with all relevant British Standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out regular servicing and maintenance of Fire detection and Emergency lighting systems
  • Commission clients' Fire Alarm and associated systems
  • Maintain accurate and high-standard documentation and electronic records
  • Undertake 'On-Call' duties as part of the team
  • Perform other duties relevant to the role
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Fire Alarm system maintenance
  • FIA or equivalent training desirable but not essential
  • Full driving license
  • DBS Check
  • Flexible approach to working hours and location
  • Ability to work unsupervised or in a team
  • Good communication skills and ability to escalate problems
  • IT literate, with experience of using tablets for job bookings
  • Ability to problem-solve and use own initiative when on site
  • Provide an excellent level of customer service
