Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide warm welcomes and ensure that all guests receive the highest level of hospitality and care during their stay.
- Complaint Resolution: Minimize and handle complaints professionally, in accordance with our company policies.
- Team Management: Supervise and manage the restaurant team, ensuring that they are trained and effective in their roles.
- Sales Performance: Work with the Food and Beverage Manager, Operations Manager, and General Manager to maximize sales performance and achieve sales targets.
- Inventory Control: Ensure effective control of stock and staff costs.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete relevant administrative tasks within the department to meet business needs.
- Staff Recruitment: Ensure that relevant staff are employed for the department and follow correct recruitment and induction procedures.
- Menu Training: Ensure that menu training is carried out as per the release of new menus.
- Exemplary Billing Systems: Maintain exemplary billing systems and obtain all payments from customers in accordance with company policy.
- Health and Safety: Observe and comply with cleaning rotas, health and safety, food and hygiene regulations.
- Financial Diligence: Ensure high standards of financial and reporting diligence in accordance with company policy.
- Interdepartmental Communication: Ensure good working relationships with all other departments and communicate information throughout the hotel.
- Emergency Procedures: Understand responsibilities in relation to fire procedures, health and safety, COSHH, infection control, and emergency aid.
