As a key member of our operational management team, you will play a vital role in leading and managing social work teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and effective integration between health and social care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy staff resources and capacity to meet Key Performance Indicators and Council priorities.
  • Supervise, support, and mentor staff responsible for providing assessments and adult social care services, ensuring decisions meet the legislative requirements of the Care Act 2014.
  • Recruit, motivate, coach, and support the development of staff, providing professional effective supervision.
  • Ensure that case recording is accurate, using the agreed quality assurance framework and acting on findings to improve practice and accountability.
  • Report any provider deficiencies identified by staff in the team to the Commissioning, Quality & Care Placement Team.
  • Respond to any complaints or FOIs delegated to you in line with departmental policy.
