Nursery Practitioner

Little Explorers Hythe is seeking an experienced and qualified nursery practitioner to join our dedicated team as a Room Leader. Our nursery provides a safe and stimulating environment for children's learning and development, using our curriculum to plan and observe daily.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent, with at least one year of experience working in a nursery. They will also have experience in tracking children's progress and development, and a passion for working with children under 5 years old.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Background checks and an enhanced DBS will be required.

Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing the curriculum through imaginative and child-led initiatives
• Working in partnership with parents to provide effective feedback on their child's learning
• Supporting colleagues and contributing positively to the culture and reputation of the nursery
• Adhering to nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety
