Job Title: Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Care Specialist to join our team in Somerset Council, working within one of their dedicated neighbourhood teams.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced social worker to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals and families in need. As a Care Specialist, you will work closely with clients to assess their needs, develop support plans, and provide guidance on available resources.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and community partners.

This is a full-time position with flexible working arrangements, including only 2 days required in the office per week. The hourly rate for this role is £38 per hour, making it an attractive opportunity for those seeking a competitive salary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess client needs and develop individualized support plans
  • Provide guidance and support to clients on available resources and services
  • Collaborate with colleagues and community partners to ensure comprehensive service delivery
