Job Summary: Experienced Support Team Member sought for Mental Health role in Birmingham.

About the Role: As a dedicated care assistant, you will provide personalized support to individuals with mild to enduring mental health issues. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents are consistently met.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Care Planning and Implementation: Follow accurate care plans, make precise observations, and contribute to ongoing care planning.
  2. Medication Administration: Administer medication as required and encourage independence in daily activities.
  3. Personal Care: Provide personal care with dignity, including assistance with toileting, cleaning, dressing, and other essential tasks.
  4. Community Support: Support residents in the community on activities or general appointments, promoting independence and well-being.

Requirements:

  • A valid DBS (preferably registered with the online service checker)
  • At least 6 months' experience in care, preferably in Mental Health or Learning Disabilities
  • Full-time availability with a mix of shifts, including earlies, lates, and weekends

Salary: Competitive hourly rate (£13.50-15.50) based on your skills and experience
