Job Overview
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for clinicians to dedicate their time to working with individuals experiencing mental health crises in the community, 24 hours a day.
Our team provides timely rapid response assessments and home treatment interventions to individuals requiring urgent mental health services.
The Rapid Response Shift Coordinator is a key role working 24/7, receiving calls from the Urgent Mental Health Helpline and coordinating Gate-keeping assessments.
This is a permanent post with responsibility for county-wide referrals.
We welcome applicants with experience working with people with a wide range of mental health conditions, who are competent and confident.
Main Duties
- Co-ordination of referrals from Urgent Mental Health Helpline
- Co-ordination of Gatekeeping assessments
- Effective communication with Rapid Response Clinicians
- Manage and co-ordinate lone working processes
- Use of Electronic patient information systems
You should be able to work shifts including nights, bank holidays, and weekends, and be able to undertake physical intervention training to support other teams with KMPT.
