Commercial Contracts Officer

Premier Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Contracts Officer to join their team in North Devon. As a key member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for managing commercial contracts, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Commercial Manager in developing and implementing commercial strategies
  • Manage commercial contracts from inception to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers
  • Conduct thorough contract reviews, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree qualification in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field
  • Proven experience in commercial contract administration, negotiation, and bid preparation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in contract management software
