">We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join our dynamic team of consultants as a Consultant in Emergency Medicine & Intensive Care Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing consultant-delivered care within all areas of the Emergency Department; adults, children and urgent care.
">Main Duties
">The Trust's aim is to provide excellent consultant-based care for our patients from the moment they arrive, and to ensure rapid access to the right service at the right time, as well as maximising opportunities for ambulatory care and early discharge.
">This post will join a team of dedicated consultants to help provide consultant-delivered care within all areas of the Emergency Department; adults, children and urgent care. The ideal candidate will have experience in running an Emergency Department and engaging in quality improvement projects.
">About the Role
">We offer a competitive salary of £84,559 - £114,003 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, generous annual leave entitlement and access to training and development opportunities.
">Required Skills and Qualifications
">To be considered for this role, you must have:
">- ">
- FCEM or equivalent qualification">
- ATLS, APLS, ALS provider certification">
- Entry on the specialist register (or expected within six months)">
- Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining CCT in ED">
- Evidence of working at a senior trainee or consultant level">
