As a Pharmacist at Baxter, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of medication dispensing processes. You will work under the guidance of SOPs, GPhC, and RPS standards and guidance documents to ensure that all orders are checked and dispatched to patients in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all POM & P medicines are 100% checked for accuracy in product code, product description, batch, expiry date, and quantity required
  • Recording and correcting errors
  • Applying correct patient labels to every box of product and ancillary products
  • Providing advice on medicines and processes to patients, prescribers, and Baxter employees
  • Investigating and managing complaints
  • Ensuring FMD requirements are met at point of receiving stock, dispensing, and returns

We offer a full-time permanent contract, Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm, with a competitive salary plus a weekly shift allowance.

Requirements:

  • Masters' Degree in Pharmacy (MPharm)
  • Membership of GPhC
  • Proven experience in supervising staff
  • Expert knowledge of good dispensing and distribution practice
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent verbal, numeric, and written communication skills
