Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Graduate Assistant to join our team at WJ Group Infrastructure. As a Commercial Graduate Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing the commercial administration process, working collaboratively with our commercial and operational colleagues to ensure the seamless execution of projects from initial pricing to delivery, applications for payment, and the final account process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and liaise closely with commercial and operational colleagues to ensure the successful execution of projects.
  • Follow established commercial processes to manage projects from pricing to completion, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure accurate and timely applications for payment, maintaining a keen eye for detail to avoid discrepancies.
  • Assist in the final account process, contributing to the development and implementation of efficient commercial administration procedures.
  • Travel across the UK representing WJ Group Infrastructure at industry events, expanding your network and knowledge.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Knowledge or experience in the Construction or Highways industry (preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work setting, with a driving license an advantage.
