Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals on their recovery journey, providing guidance, and promoting positive change.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a key worker to a caseload of service users, supporting them to set and achieve their goals
- Maintain regular contact with clients, offering advice, information, and psycho-social interventions
- Provide assessments, risk management planning, and work closely with clinical staff around prescribing needs and partner agencies
- Communicate effectively with a range of service users and colleagues, managing different tasks and prioritizing responsibilities
- Understanding of substance and alcohol use, and the challenges and opportunities for individuals on a recovery journey
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work dynamically on a one-to-one and group basis
- Knowledge of relapse and other barriers to recovery, with a commitment to Turning Point values
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
