About the Role

We are seeking a talented Claims Handler to join our Home Claims team at Sedgwick. As a Claims Handler, you will play a crucial role in delivering excellent customer service and technical claims handling at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent customer service throughout the lifecycle of the claim, meeting our goal of making claims easy for everyone.
  • Work closely with our adjusters to achieve successful conclusion of allocated claims, ensuring fair and accurate settlements.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with customers and their representatives, protecting the reputations of Sedgwick and our Insurer client.
  • Assist with claims documentation, preparation of claim files, and other administrative tasks as required.
  • Provide support to colleagues in other internal product lines/departments as needed.
Requirements
  • Cert CILA/Cert CII or willingness to attain within the first year.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to identify customer vulnerabilities and adjust handling accordingly.
  • Competent IT skills and ability to maintain electronic files to a high standard.
  • Proactive mindset and ability to work independently.
