Healthcare Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Unit Manager at our Skilled Nursing Facility in the Bronx. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the unit, ensuring the highest level of care and quality of service for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance and oversight to assigned staff members, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional care and service.
- Policy Development: Collaborate with senior management to establish and implement policies and procedures that promote a positive and supportive work environment.
- Mentorship and Training: Offer clinical and career guidance to less experienced nurses, helping them to develop their skills and advance in their careers.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and review resident records and care plans to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Communication and Representation: Serve as a liaison between the unit and upper-level management, addressing questions and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Education and Experience: Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and possess at least 3 years of long-term care experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a charge nurse role.
- Skills and Qualifications: Strong computer skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
