Job Title: Wildlife AmbassadorWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced animal trainer to join our team at Blackpool Zoo, a leading institution in the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums. As a Wildlife Ambassador, you will be responsible for the daily care and presentation of animals in educational displays.

Our mission is to provide an engaging and informative experience for our visitors while promoting the importance of conservation and animal care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily care and presentation of animals in educational displays.
- Develop and implement animal training programs using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Work with a wide range of animal species, including pinnipeds, birds, and other taxa.
- Collaborate with the animal department to achieve its goals and objectives.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience presenting and animal training in a similar environment.
- Experience working with Pinniped species and completion of the DMZZA course or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with a wide range of animal taxa, particularly birds.
- A proven track record in animal training or an appropriate qualification in positive reinforcement training.
Salary: An estimated salary of £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
