Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Employment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in the Nuclear industry.

This exciting role involves leading the development of innovative designs for major projects within a multi-disciplinary team. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating equipment designs, either independently or by leading a small group of mechanical design engineers.

You will ensure designs adhere to relevant standards and meet project goals in terms of quality, safety, and efficiency. This position is ideal for an experienced mechanical design engineer who enjoys taking on responsibility in a collaborative environment.

A person with experience in mechanical system design, working to tight deadlines, and managing technical risks would thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop design concepts, layouts, and detailed engineering documentation.
  • Lead a small team of design engineers or work independently, as required.
  • Produce design justification reports that address technical risks and safety concerns.
  • Manage designs within the constraints of project schedules and budgets.
