Surface Analyst

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Surface Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating sophisticated analytical equipment, analyzing glass and thin films, and contributing to multidisciplinary project teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operation of highly sophisticated analytical equipment, including ToF SIMS.
  • Analysis of glass, thin films, and associated materials.
  • Interpretation of results, preparation of formal reports, and effective communication of findings.
  • Contribution to multidisciplinary project teams and troubleshooting activities.
Requirements:
  • Chemistry or Materials Science degree qualification.
  • Experience in analytical chemistry, preferably using surface analysis techniques.
  • Practical and theoretical knowledge of analytical method development.

The Surface Analyst position will be based at our site near Skelmersdale, with easy access by road from surrounding areas.
