We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver Assistant to join our team. As a Caregiver Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients, helping them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our clients with various aspects of personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. They will also be required to administer medications, prepare nutritious meals, and provide companionship and emotional support.

In addition, the caregiver assistant will be responsible for light housekeeping and cleaning duties, as well as laundry and linen maintenance. They will also be expected to work collaboratively with other members of the care team to ensure that our clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be physically fit and able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) on a regular basis.

A Health Care Aide Certificate or Personal Support Worker Certificate would be considered an asset, but not a requirement. If you have previous experience working in a caregiving role, either paid or unpaid, please highlight this in your application.
