Job Title: Manual Machinist - Precision Craftsman

Location: UK

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate manual lathes, milling machines, and grinders with precision and accuracy
• Build and assemble tools to meet high-quality standards
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate production
• Produce high-quality components to tight tolerances, meeting customer requirements
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Assist in the development and improvement of manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and productivity

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a manual machinist with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, with a focus on precision and accuracy
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience with various materials, primarily metals, with a focus on high-tolerance production
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures, with a focus on maintaining a safe working environment
• Experience with Surface Grinding would be beneficial

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 4 day working week rota 7:00AM - 5:15 PM (30-minute lunch break)
Alternative shifts can be agreed at interview
