Warehouse Supervisor Job Description

Freightserve is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee all warehouse activities, ensuring efficient processes and effective use of resources.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and supervise warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods
  • Implement and maintain inventory management systems, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely delivery of goods
  • Manage warehouse space, ensuring optimal utilization and compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Lead and motivate warehouse staff, providing training and development opportunities to enhance performance and productivity
  • Monitor and report on warehouse performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role, with a strong understanding of inventory management and logistics
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team
  • Proficiency in inventory software and systems, with a strong understanding of health and safety regulations
