About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Team Member to join our team at Julia's House Dorset/Wiltshire Children's Hospices. As a Care Team Member, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and their families.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, holistic care to children and young people, including physical, emotional, social, and spiritual support.

Develop and maintain individualized programs of activities tailored to each child's specific needs and interests.

Work collaboratively with families to support them in their chosen manner, promoting a sense of continuity and stability.

Participate in the planning and delivery of activity sessions, including the development of activity packs and resources.

Requirements

NVQ 2/3 in Care or equivalent experience.

Safeguarding Awareness Level 1.

Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and occasional overnights.

Full driving license and use of a vehicle for business purposes.
