Job Summary

A well-established provider of psychiatric services is seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to lead the Male PICU service. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Forensic Psychiatry and the ability to provide high-quality care to patients with complex mental health needs.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join a leading healthcare provider and make a significant impact on the lives of individuals with complex mental health needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading patient care within the Male PICU service, providing expert psychiatric assessments and treatment, and collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities and Requirements

- Provide high-quality care and treatment to patients with complex mental health needs
- Lead patient care within your specialty and ensure the highest standards of clinical care
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop holistic, person-centred care plans
- Engage in clinical governance activities and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the service

What You Need to Succeed

- Full GMC registration with specialist registration in psychiatry
- Extensive experience in Forensic Psychiatry, particularly in inpatient settings with patients presenting complex mental health conditions
- Strong knowledge of Clinical Governance and adherence to regulatory frameworks
