The role of a playworker is crucial in inspiring and supporting children through a holistic approach, promoting a kind, upbeat, and empathetic attitude. A playworker is adaptable, respectful, and supportive within their team, ensuring the foundations for successful clubs are built.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure activities are prepared for children
- Manage supplies and ensure they are sufficiently stocked
- Prioritize child safety and well-being
- Foster an inclusive environment where children can have fun and engage in sessions
- Adhere to policies and procedures
- Report incidents to the manager and complete relevant paperwork
Our Commitment: We provide comprehensive training, uniform, an enhanced DBS check, and resources to support our staff in their work.
A senior leadership team consisting of two staff development officers and the Welfare Officer will be available to support our staff.

Responsibilities Include: (but are not limited to)
- Promote and protect children's welfare
- Ensure safe working practices
- Participate in relevant safeguarding qualifications and training
- Monitor and report safeguarding concerns
- Model behavior that promotes a safe culture
- Adhere to our Safer Recruitment Policy and Safeguarding Policy.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to £11.44 per hour
Expected Hours: No less than 15 hours per week
