Network Engineer Role

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking an experienced Network Engineer with a focus on Nokia technologies to play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Designing, configuring, and managing network solutions using Nokia technologies, including routers, switches, and other network devices.
  2. Monitoring network performance and security, identifying potential issues, and implementing measures to optimize and secure the network.
  3. Developing and maintaining network architecture documentation, including network diagrams, configuration guides, and operational procedures.
  4. Conducting network assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  5. Troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues, collaborating with IT and operations teams to ensure minimal disruption.
  6. Implementing network changes and upgrades, ensuring smooth integration and minimal downtime.
  7. Staying up to date with the latest networking trends, technologies, and best practices to proactively address network challenges.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Nokia technologies.
  2. Proficiency in configuring and managing Nokia network products, including Nokia routers, switches, and network management systems.
  3. Strong understanding of IP networking principles, protocols, and technologies, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPNs, and QoS.
  4. Hands-on experience with network monitoring and management tools.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
  6. Relevant certifications such as Nokia Network Routing Specialist (NRS) or similar are highly desirable.

Salary: $40 Per Hour
