About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Stakeholder Engagement Consultant to join our Stakeholder Engagement, Consultation and Communications team in either Birmingham or Bristol.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering effective communications and engaging with a wide range of audiences to support complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communications: Supporting the development of communications strategies and delivery plans, developing themes, core messages and collateral for multiple audiences and stakeholders.
  • Engagement and Consultation: Identifying and mapping key stakeholders for client projects, establishing an engagement strategy and delivery plans, supporting consultation delivery, developing surveys, managing stakeholder feedback channels and analysing consultation responses.
  • Client Relations: Liaising with internal and external clients, ensuring a high level of customer service and accurate, timely reporting.

Requirements
  • A Degree or a Masters in a relevant subject, or an equivalent number of years of successful, relevant experience.
  • A strong interest in industry sectors relevant to our business, and confidence engaging a variety of audiences and stakeholder groups.
  • Proactive and ambitious, with strong personal communication skills, cultural awareness, and a focus on inclusion and accessibility.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong report writing, research, numeracy, and verbal communications skills, with the confidence to engage with a variety of people and summarise technical information effectively.
