Examining Specialist for BTEC Tech Awards

At Pearson, we are seeking a skilled Examining Specialist to join our team of subject matter experts in the field of BTEC Tech Awards. As an Examining Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and consistent marking of candidate responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mark candidate responses accurately and consistently to ensure overall standards are maintained.
  • Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times.
  • Adhere to milestones for marking and ensure all administration is completed as specified.

Requirements

  • A minimum of one year's full-time teaching experience of the relevant subject.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Qualification as a teacher.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A high level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme.
