Senior Underwriter Wholesale Marine Cargo

About the Role:
The Senior Underwriter Wholesale Marine Cargo position is a newly created role within our Marine team, responsible for delivering growth opportunities and building relationships with brokers and customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver volume, quality, and profitability of growth opportunities to the Line of Business
- Build relationships with brokers and customers globally, including travel
- Responsible for the performance and development of assigned risks, meeting plan targets for GWP, NWP, Loss Ratio, Expense Ratio, and Combined Ratio
- Exercise case-by-case judgment to ensure overall strategy and governance targets are met
Requirements:
- Experience in underwriting London market wholesale cargo and stock throughput business
- Proven track record of underwriting a portfolio for a London Market/Lloyd's Marine account, including understanding metrics to monitor such a portfolio
- Well-regarded by major London market brokers, with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Results-oriented and able to plan and prioritize effectively
