We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Fashion Retail Assistant to join our team at Manière De Voir.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Buying team in product sampling and development, ensuring timely delivery and meeting quality standards.
  • Manage samples throughout the Design and Buying process, collaborating with designers and senior team members.
  • Assist seniors in cost price negotiations to meet required margins.
  • Maintain the sample library and ensure accuracy in product information.
  • Conduct competitor analysis for pricing on a weekly basis, identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Liaise with suppliers and collate stock for E-commerce, Campaign, and Social shoots.
  • Prepare for monthly E-comm photoshoots and ensure consistency in branding and visual merchandising.
  • Audit websites for errors and areas needing improvement, maximising sales potential through product recommendations and cross-selling.
  • Maintain the 'Back in Stock' list in coordination with the Buying Team.
  • Undertake web administrative tasks, creating products, collections, and organising SKU's, barcodes, and cross selling products.
  • Own the upload process for product releases across all sites.
  • Write product descriptions for monthly releases.
  • Assist with warehouse intake for new release deadlines and restocks.
  • Support the Assistant Buyer/Merchandiser with promotional activities and web administrative tasks.
  • Provide assistance to the team for Buying/Merchandising/Marketing meetings.
  • Monitor and control stock movement within the business.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year full-time work experience in the relevant field.
  • Excellent written skills for email and copywriting product.
  • Strong communication skills with all levels.
  • Highly competent with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google Sheets.
  • Familiarity with Shopify platform and Inventory Planner app is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Matrixify app is desirable.
  • Hard-working with a passion for the fashion industry.
  • Flexible to suit business needs and willing to provide essential support.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage task priority.
  • This role is ideal for someone looking to kick-start their buying career in a fast-growing company.

Salary: £26,000 per annum
