DevOps Coordinator

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Coordinator to join our team at bet365. In this role, you will be responsible for managing code repositories, automated build systems, and ensuring smooth transitions of production code through the Git workflow.

The successful candidate will own the application and database release processes, including versioning and release tickets, and will work closely with multiple teams to ensure releases are delivered on time. They will also communicate updates to stakeholders and have the opportunity to improve process and release activities to enhance the planning and releasing of software.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage code repositories and automated build systems
• Owning the application and database release processes, including versioning and release tickets
• Orchestrating weekly releases and communicating with multiple teams to ensure timely delivery
• Updating stakeholders on the status of all releases
• Ensuring Git branches are kept in good state, allowing smooth transition of production code through the Git workflow
• Improving process and release activities to enhance the planning and releasing of software

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong knowledge of Git and source control management
• Familiarity with Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Jenkins, and Jira
• Understanding of SQL
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage parallel work streams and remain calm under pressure
