We are seeking a highly skilled Scientist I to join our Product Maintenance team at Manchester Science Park. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continued compliance of our products to regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Provide scientific expertise and input into the planning and execution of laboratory work, ensuring high-quality and efficient experimental results.
- Actively participate in complex projects requiring cross-functional collaboration, driving innovation and excellence in our products.
- Develop, plan, and implement protocols to demonstrate that our tests meet performance and regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest standards of quality and integrity.
- Organize and manage high volumes of data, ensuring data integrity and traceability, and maintaining accurate records of laboratory activities.
- Ensure that your work meets regulatory and quality requirements, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining the integrity of data and documentation.
- Contribute to the maintenance of laboratory areas, including stock checks, ordering of reagents and consumables, and laboratory cleaning, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Hold a first or higher degree (or equivalent) in a life science such as molecular biology, biochemistry, or genetics.
- Have a strong desire to learn about regulatory requirements for in-vitro diagnostics and implement efficient and effective studies to ensure compliance.
- Be experienced in data analysis and interpretation, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Have a proven track record of preparing experimental reports and QMS/regulatory documentation, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, drive, thoroughness, diligence, and a willingness to take personal responsibility to ensure project success.
