Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our Group Finance Team at Kier Group. This role will be responsible for providing financial control, reporting, and business partnering support to key central functions within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with central functions to support the organization's objectives and long-term sustainable growth plan.
- Provide monthly management reporting, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and half-year and year-end actuals for the consolidated Kier Group Services function.
- Develop and provide insightful reporting and analytics to support management decision-making.
- Review and analyze monthly management information and forecasts for individual central functions.
- Prepare and present the monthly Financial Reporting Pack to the Group with analysis and narrative on the consolidated Kier Group Services function.
Requirements:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with presentation experience.
- A collaborative approach with the ability to work with/through others as part of a team and to mentor colleagues.
- Capability to develop and manage high-performing teams.
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels, including up to Board level.
- A good understanding and knowledge of ERP end-to-end processes.
- Capability of working effectively under pressure and managing multiple priorities.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of ERP software, particularly Oracle.
