Experienced Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning and Refrigeration engineer to join our client, a well-established HVAC contractor based in the North East.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of air conditioning equipment, including split, VRV, CRAC units, and chillers. Additionally, they will have experience working on commercial refrigeration systems, such as bottle coolers, display cabinets, and cold rooms.

The successful candidate will hold a current F-gas certificate and ideally have an NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in air conditioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service, maintain, and repair air conditioning equipment
  • Work on commercial refrigeration systems
  • Hold a current F-gas certificate
  • Have an NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in air conditioning (ideal)
What We Offer:
  • 24 days holiday + bank holidays + birthday
  • Hourly paid depending on experience and qualifications
  • Must be F-Gas Cat 1 qualified
  • Hydrocarbon certs are beneficial but not essential
  • Transit custom van, tablet provided
  • Specialist tools provided
  • 24 hour Standby cover rota (north east area only) currently 1 in 6
