We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As an Inpatient Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessments and interventions for young adults with severe eating disorders and complex mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based and formulation-driven psychological perspectives to multidisciplinary risk management, care planning, and decision-making.
- Manage a complex caseload as the individual psychological therapist working within a multidisciplinary team.
- Facilitate group psychological interventions and family/systemic interventions.
- Monitor clinical progress through regular reviews of psychological treatment.
- Provide high-quality clinical supervision to the Assistant Psychologist.
- Support staff development through the provision of training, consultation, formulation meetings, and reflective practice sessions.
- Contribute to service developments within the therapies team and wider service.
- A Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology (or equivalent if trained overseas).
- Registration with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist.
- Knowledge and understanding of eating disorders, and the impact on young adults and their families.
- Experience working with individuals with eating disorders and their families, in either community or inpatient services.
- Prior experience in eating disorders is desirable but not essential for this position.
