The Dog & Fox is a renowned pub and hotel in the heart of Wimbledon Village, offering a premium selection of draught and craft beers, local spirits, and fine wines. We pride ourselves on serving the best in seasonal, fresh, British produce for our menu and have 25 exquisite bedrooms above in our boutique hotel. With easy access to Wimbledon train station and several bus routes, we are a bustling hub all year round.

The ideal candidate will be passionate, creative, and organised, with a strong desire to drive new business to the site. They will be responsible for managing incoming enquiries and supporting the sales manager in delivering the sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Booking Management:

  • Handling reactive booking requests to maximise conversion and improve the guest experience
  • Liaising with the management team and venue staff on key bookings and enquiries
  • Management of the booking system
  • Proactive selling and upselling to prospective and confirmed bookings

Event Management:

  • Ensuring all required materials are present for the event to run smoothly
  • Communicating event details to the management team
  • Meeting and greeting coordinators to ensure everything is as agreed
  • Assisting the team with the successful delivery of the event
  • Following up with guests to ensure they are satisfied

Sales and Marketing:

  • Maintenance and development of relationships with new and existing customers
  • Identifying key businesses in the area and updating this information regularly
  • Maintaining social media presence, increasing followers, and posting material in line with company and brand
  • Ensuring onsite marketing material is building the brand and sales

Requirements:

  • Highly organised with excellent communication skills
  • Eager to learn and develop
  • Energetic and passionate about delivering great experiences
  • Previous experience with Designmynight/Collins is preferred but not essential
  • Capable of prioritising own workload and self-motivated
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a wide range of clientele and colleagues
  • High level of professional presentation with a friendly and welcoming personality
