Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Design and Technology (DT) Teacher to join our well-resourced department at a highly prestigious mixed school in Cambridge.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching DT at KS3 and KS4, planning engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students, and providing guidance and support to ensure they thrive in their DT education.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs, as well as overseas teachers with a formal teaching qualification and QTS, to work within a vibrant and supportive community that fosters academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging DT lessons at KS3 and KS4
  • Provide guidance and support to students to ensure they achieve their full potential
  • Work collaboratively with the department to develop and implement effective teaching strategies

Requirements:

  • Degree in Design and Technology or related field
  • Formal teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE)
  • Able to teach DT at KS3 and KS4
  • Legal ability to work in the UK
