About the Role:

Jane Austen College is seeking a dedicated and responsible Behaviour Manager to support students who have been temporarily removed from lessons in the Academy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To provide immediate support for behavioural incidents and work with pupils, parents, and staff to facilitate a smooth reintegration into the learning environment.
  • To supervise and support pupils in the Behaviour Room, promoting a safe and inclusive environment.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Good basic level of education, preferably including GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Experience of working with children and ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken, to internal and external customers.
