Electrical Systems Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Orion Electrotech in Dorking. As a key member of our manufacturing process, you will be responsible for ensuring the electrical systems of our specialized vehicles are installed and maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Installation: Install and integrate electrical systems into vehicles according to engineering specifications and wiring diagrams.
  • Diagnostic Testing: Conduct diagnostic tests on electrical systems to identify and troubleshoot issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical systems to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect completed electrical installations to verify compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of electrical work performed, including installation procedures, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and production teams to coordinate electrical installations and resolve any technical challenges.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience as an electrical systems specialist, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Player: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical engineering are desirable.
