Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Department Housekeeper/Hygienist in the Oncology and Haematology Day Treatment Unit. This is a part-time role, 32 hours over 4 days, requiring excellent team working and communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the department, ensuring effective stock control, and managing the cleaning and maintenance regime for medical devices. Knowledge of working in a care environment is an advantage, but not essential.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be required to complete the National Care Certificate and possess excellent IT skills, as most stock ordering is done electronically. Full training and support will be provided.

Please note that this role does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa, and therefore Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust would not be able to issue a visa.
